Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Entry-Level SOC Monitoring Analyst. Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts and events from various security tools (SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS) to identify potential threats and anomalies.
- Perform initial triage and analysis of security incidents to determine their nature, scope, and severity.
- Document security incidents and findings accurately, maintaining detailed records for further investigation and reporting.
- Escalate complex or high-priority security incidents to senior analysts or incident response teams.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance cybersecurity knowledge and skills.
- Assist in the development and refinement of security monitoring procedures and playbooks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for the Security Operations Center.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of current cybersecurity threats, vulnerabilities, and attack techniques.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure timely resolution of security issues and implement preventative measures.
