Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior editors with media management, including ingesting, organizing, and archiving raw footage and project files.
- Perform initial video and audio synchronization to prepare projects for editing.
- Execute basic video edits, cuts, and transitions under guidance.
- Apply fundamental color correction and grading adjustments.
- Add and synchronize graphic elements, lower thirds, and text overlays.
- Assist with audio clean-up, basic sound design, and music synchronization.
- Prepare project files for different output formats and platforms.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
- Research and gather stock footage, music, and sound effects as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation of project assets and progress.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas.
- Support the overall post-production workflow, ensuring timely project delivery.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of video editing principles and post-production workflow.
- Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar non-linear editing (NLE) software.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
