Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior editors with media management, including ingesting, organizing, and archiving raw footage and project files.
  • Perform initial video and audio synchronization to prepare projects for editing.
  • Execute basic video edits, cuts, and transitions under guidance.
  • Apply fundamental color correction and grading adjustments.
  • Add and synchronize graphic elements, lower thirds, and text overlays.
  • Assist with audio clean-up, basic sound design, and music synchronization.
  • Prepare project files for different output formats and platforms.
  • Conduct quality control checks to ensure accuracy and adherence to project specifications.
  • Research and gather stock footage, music, and sound effects as needed.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of project assets and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute creative ideas.
  • Support the overall post-production workflow, ensuring timely project delivery.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of video editing principles and post-production workflow.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro or similar non-linear editing (NLE) software.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency with both Windows and macOS operating systems.
