Job Description
Career.zycto is excited to be recruiting on behalf of a prominent client seeking a dedicated and proactive Housing Officer to join their team, based in the vibrant community of Rowley Regis, Birmingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to make a significant impact on residents’ lives within a hybrid working model, balancing office presence with remote flexibility.
As a Housing Officer, you will be at the forefront of providing comprehensive housing management services, ensuring residents receive the support and guidance they need to thrive. Your role will involve managing a varied portfolio of properties and tenancies, encompassing everything from tenancy sign-ups and rent arrears management to addressing anti-social behaviour and facilitating community engagement initiatives. We are looking for an individual who is not only skilled in housing legislation and best practices but also possesses a genuine passion for community development and tenant welfare.
This position demands strong communication skills, an empathetic approach, and the ability to navigate complex situations with professionalism and discretion. You will be instrumental in fostering positive relationships with tenants, local authorities, and support agencies, working collaboratively to create safe, sustainable, and inclusive communities. The hybrid working arrangement offers the best of both worlds – the collaborative environment of an office team for essential tasks and meetings, combined with the flexibility to work from home, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
Our client is committed to investing in their people, offering continuous professional development and a supportive work culture where your contributions are valued. If you are a compassionate, organised, and resilient individual ready to take on a challenging yet rewarding role, we encourage you to apply. This is more than just a job; it’s an opportunity to contribute to the well-being and stability of residents in Rowley Regis, helping them build better lives and stronger communities.
