Key Responsibilities
- Design, plan, and execute complex immunological experiments using a variety of in vitro and ex vivo models.
- Perform advanced cellular immunology techniques including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISpot, Western blot, and cell culture assays.
- Analyze and interpret experimental data, troubleshoot technical issues, and draw scientifically sound conclusions.
- Maintain detailed laboratory records, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to project strategy and experimental design discussions.
- Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, emerging technologies, and advancements in the field of immunology.
- Contribute to the development and optimization of new assays and research methodologies.
- Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
- Mentor junior scientists and actively participate in a collaborative research environment.
- Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and present research at scientific conferences.
Required Skills
- Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in immunology research
- Proficiency in advanced flow cytometry techniques and data analysis software (e.g., FlowJo)
- Extensive experience with primary cell culture and various immunological assays (e.g., ELISA, ELISpot, Luminex)
- Strong understanding of immune system mechanisms, signaling pathways, and disease models
- Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and interpret complex experiments independently
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific reporting and presentations
- Proven track record of scientific publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with in vivo models of immune-mediated diseases
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for analyzing large-scale immunological datasets (e.g., RNA-seq, single-cell sequencing)
