Key Responsibilities

  • Design, plan, and execute complex immunological experiments using a variety of in vitro and ex vivo models.
  • Perform advanced cellular immunology techniques including multi-color flow cytometry, ELISA, ELISpot, Western blot, and cell culture assays.
  • Analyze and interpret experimental data, troubleshoot technical issues, and draw scientifically sound conclusions.
  • Maintain detailed laboratory records, prepare comprehensive reports, and present findings to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to project strategy and experimental design discussions.
  • Stay abreast of the latest scientific literature, emerging technologies, and advancements in the field of immunology.
  • Contribute to the development and optimization of new assays and research methodologies.
  • Adhere strictly to laboratory safety protocols, quality control standards, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Mentor junior scientists and actively participate in a collaborative research environment.
  • Prepare manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and present research at scientific conferences.

Required Skills

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3 years of post-doctoral or industry experience in immunology research
  • Proficiency in advanced flow cytometry techniques and data analysis software (e.g., FlowJo)
  • Extensive experience with primary cell culture and various immunological assays (e.g., ELISA, ELISpot, Luminex)
  • Strong understanding of immune system mechanisms, signaling pathways, and disease models
  • Demonstrated ability to design, execute, and interpret complex experiments independently
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scientific reporting and presentations
  • Proven track record of scientific publications in reputable peer-reviewed journals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with in vivo models of immune-mediated diseases
  • Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for analyzing large-scale immunological datasets (e.g., RNA-seq, single-cell sequencing)
  • Prior experience in drug discovery and development within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology setting
  • Expertise in specific areas such as tumor immunology, autoimmunity, infectious diseases, or neuroimmunology
  • Ability to lead projects and work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
