Key Responsibilities
- Create detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings and models using CAD software.
- Assist engineers in preparing design layouts, schematics, and other visual aids.
- Review and verify designs for accuracy, completeness, and adherence to company standards and industry specifications.
- Incorporate changes and modifications to existing drawings as directed by senior engineers.
- Maintain organized digital files and documentation of all design work.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure designs are manufacturable and assembly-friendly.
- Learn and apply drafting standards, codes, and regulations.
- Perform basic calculations to support design elements.
- Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor).
- Strong understanding of mechanical drafting principles and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T).
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
