Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior Colorists with project setup, organization, and media management within color grading software.
  • Perform initial color balancing and shot matching under supervision, ensuring visual continuity.
  • Execute quality control checks for color accuracy, technical specifications, and client deliverables.
  • Prepare project files, timelines, and grades for final output and delivery across various platforms.
  • Learn and apply best practices for color theory, grading techniques, and post-production workflows.
  • Maintain organized project archives and asset libraries.
  • Troubleshoot minor technical issues related to software or hardware.
  • Attend client review sessions and take detailed notes for revisions.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, software advancements, and new color grading technologies.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of video and image file formats (e.g., ProRes, DNxHD, EXR, TIFF).
  • Familiarity with at least one professional editing or grading software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Avid Media Composer).
  • Strong attention to detail and an excellent eye for color and visual consistency.
  • Proficiency in macOS and/or Windows operating systems.
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • A genuine passion for film, video, and visual storytelling.

Preferred Qualifications
