As a DevOps Support Trainee, you will be an integral part of our operations, working alongside experienced engineers to ensure the smooth and efficient functioning of our IT infrastructure and software deployment pipelines.
This role is designed to provide comprehensive on-the-job training, allowing you to develop a solid foundation in DevOps practices, tools, and methodologies. You will gain exposure to cloud platforms, automation scripts, continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines, system monitoring, and troubleshooting. We are looking for someone who demonstrates a keen interest in problem-solving, has an analytical mindset, and possesses excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the monitoring, maintenance, and support of IT infrastructure, applications, and services.
- Participate in incident management, troubleshooting, and resolution of system issues under guidance.
- Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers to develop and deploy automation scripts and tools.
- Contribute to the documentation of system configurations, operational procedures, and incident resolutions.
- Support the implementation and improvement of CI/CD pipelines for software delivery.
- Help ensure the security, reliability, and compliance of our systems and data.
- Actively engage in team meetings, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous learning initiatives.
- Perform routine system checks and preventative maintenance tasks.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of operating systems (Linux and/or Windows).
- Familiarity with command-line interfaces.
- Demonstrated interest in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
