Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on estate infrastructure, including electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and general building fabrics.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to maintenance requests from residents and estate management, diagnosing and resolving issues.
- Conduct inspections of properties and common areas to identify and address potential maintenance needs or hazards.
- Execute repairs and installations related to carpentry, painting, tiling, plastering, and general handyman tasks.
- Manage and maintain inventories of tools, equipment, and spare parts, ensuring availability for timely repairs.
- Operate and maintain various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company standards.
- Assist with the setup and dismantling of equipment for estate events or projects.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance performed, materials used, and time spent on tasks.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or similar role, preferably within an estate or property management setting.
- Strong knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
- Proficiency in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and general repair skills.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work in various environments (e.g., indoors, outdoors, heights).
