Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior operators and technicians with various tasks related to oil and gas field operations.
  • Perform general labour duties, including site maintenance, housekeeping, and equipment cleaning.
  • Conduct routine checks and inspections of equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Monitor fluid levels, pressures, and temperatures, reporting any anomalies to supervisors.
  • Participate in the loading and unloading of materials, chemicals, and equipment.
  • Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and environmental (HSE) policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of daily activities, observations, and equipment status.
  • Support emergency response procedures and drills as required.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the work site, including proper waste disposal.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve operational goals and uphold a positive work environment.

Required Skills

  • Strong commitment to safety and adherence to all regulations.
  • Excellent physical fitness and ability to perform demanding manual labour in various weather conditions.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn about oil & gas equipment.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Valid UK driving license and ability to travel to various field sites.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in the oil & gas, construction, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., First Aid, H2S Alive, Confined Space Entry).
  • Vocational training or diplomas in a related technical field.
  • Basic understanding of oilfield terminology and processes.
