Career.zycto is seeking a highly professional and observant Security Concierge to join our team, serving as the primary point of contact and guardian of our corporate office lobby in Old Trafford, Manchester. This pivotal role combines top-tier security protocols with exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for all employees, clients, and visitors. Your day will involve a blend of proactive security measures and reactive problem-solving, all while maintaining a calm, approachable, and authoritative presence. You will manage access control, monitor surveillance systems, conduct regular patrols, and respond promptly to any security incidents or emergencies. Beyond security, you will provide concierge-level assistance, guiding visitors, answering inquiries, and facilitating smooth operations within the lobby area. Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor access control systems, issuing visitor passes and verifying identification.
- Act as the primary point of contact for all visitors, employees, and contractors, providing a professional and welcoming reception.
- Conduct regular patrols of the lobby and designated common areas to deter unauthorized activities and ensure safety.
- Operate and monitor CCTV cameras and other security equipment, responding to alarms and suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly and effectively to security incidents, emergencies, and medical situations, following established protocols.
- Provide concierge services, including directing visitors, answering inquiries, and assisting with general information.
- Maintain accurate logs of visitor traffic, incidents, and security checks.
- Enforce company security policies and procedures consistently and fairly.
- Liaise with emergency services, building management, and other internal departments as required.
- Assist with package deliveries and mail handling for the lobby area.
Required Skills
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence (valid and active)
- Proven experience in a security or concierge role within a corporate or commercial environment (2+ years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to operate CCTV and access control systems
- First Aid at Work certification
- Proficiency in basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm and effective under pressure

- Customer service training or certification
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations pertinent to office environments
