Key Responsibilities
- Accurately picking and packing orders according to customer specifications.
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Operating warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, stackers) after receiving appropriate training.
- Performing quality checks on incoming and outgoing products to ensure standards are met.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and safe working environment.
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Collaborating effectively with team members and supervisors to meet daily targets.
Required Skills
- Strong work ethic and a positive, can-do attitude.
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and meticulously.
- Reliable and punctual, with excellent attendance.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading orders and counting stock.
- Physical fitness and ability to lift and move packages up to 20kg repeatedly.
- Team player with good communication skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in a fast-paced environment (not necessarily warehouse).
- Familiarity with basic warehouse safety procedures.
- GCSEs in English and Maths (or equivalent).
