Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods securely and correctly.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy checkout area and store environment.
  • Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves when required.
  • Accurately count and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
  • Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and security.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
  • Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Stay informed about current promotions, products, and services to better assist customers.
