Key Responsibilities
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product inquiries.
- Handle cash, credit card, and other payment methods securely and correctly.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and tidy checkout area and store environment.
- Assist with merchandising and stocking shelves when required.
- Accurately count and balance the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies and procedures, including those related to loss prevention and security.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth store operations and a positive shopping experience.
- Resolve customer complaints or escalate issues to management as needed.
- Stay informed about current promotions, products, and services to better assist customers.
