Key Responsibilities
- Operate commercial dishwashing equipment efficiently and safely.
- Sort and pre-rinse dishes, glassware, flatware, pots, and pans.
- Load, operate, and unload dishwashing machines, ensuring proper cycles are used.
- Hand wash specific items as required.
- Store clean dishes, utensils, and equipment in appropriate locations.
- Maintain a clean and organized dishwashing area, including floors, sinks, and shelves.
- Monitor and maintain appropriate levels of detergents and sanitizers.
- Assist with basic kitchen prep tasks as needed, such as peeling vegetables or restocking supplies.
- Remove trash and recycling, ensuring proper waste disposal procedures are followed.
- Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and regulations.
