Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior mechanics with routine maintenance and repair tasks on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
- Learn to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and technical manuals.
- Perform oil changes, lubrication, tire rotations, and other preventative maintenance services.
- Gain proficiency in inspecting and testing various components, including brakes, steering, suspension, and hydraulic systems.
- Help disassemble, repair, and reassemble engine components and other mechanical systems.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.
- Document services performed and parts used accurately.
- Participate actively in all training sessions and mentorship programs.
- Continuously expand knowledge of new technologies and repair techniques.
Required Skills
