Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and experienced Nutritionist to join a prominent hospital or clinic within the vibrant community of Washington Gardens, Kingston. Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' nutritional status and dietary needs through comprehensive evaluations.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized nutrition care plans tailored to specific medical conditions and patient preferences.
- Provide expert dietary counseling and education to patients, families, and caregivers on nutrition principles, food choices, and meal preparation.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to integrate nutrition therapy into overall patient care plans.
- Conduct group nutrition education sessions and workshops as required.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, documenting assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in nutrition science and medical nutrition therapy.
- Contribute to the development and review of institutional nutrition policies and procedures.
Required Skills
- Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist certification (or equivalent professional licensure)
- Strong knowledge of medical nutrition therapy and disease-specific dietary interventions
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Proficiency in conducting nutritional assessments and developing personalized care plans

- Strong organizational and time management abilities
