Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with soil preparation, planting, and seeding of various crops.
- Performing routine tasks such as weeding, pruning, and general crop maintenance to ensure healthy growth.
- Operating basic farm equipment and hand tools safely and efficiently under supervision (e.g., wheelbarrows, hoes, rakes).
- Participating actively in the harvesting of ripe produce according to established quality standards.
- Washing, sorting, grading, and packaging harvested crops for immediate distribution or storage.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of farm areas, storage facilities, and agricultural tools.
- Adhering strictly to all safety guidelines and operational procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Assisting with irrigation and water management tasks, ensuring crops receive adequate hydration.
- Reporting any observed issues concerning crop health, pest infestations, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors promptly.
- Working collaboratively and effectively with all team members to achieve daily production goals and contribute to a positive team atmosphere.
