Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-line technical support for broadcast systems, studio equipment, and associated IT infrastructure.
- Monitor broadcast transmissions and signals, identifying and resolving anomalies promptly.
- Assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of audio, video, and lighting equipment for live and pre-recorded productions.
- Perform routine checks, preventative maintenance, and minor repairs on broadcast hardware and software.
- Document technical issues, resolutions, and operational procedures accurately.
- Collaborate with engineers, producers, and other technical staff to ensure seamless workflow and project delivery.
- Manage and organize technical equipment inventory, ensuring proper storage, functionality, and readiness for use.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in broadcast audio/video standards and formats (e.g., SDI, NDI, IPTV).
- Solid understanding of IT networking principles relevant to broadcast operations.
- Experience with studio lighting, sound mixing consoles, and professional camera operation.
- Strong ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues efficiently and methodically.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team collaboration.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a dynamic and time-sensitive broadcast environment.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Broadcast Technology, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

- Familiarity with broadcast automation systems and media asset management (MAM) platforms.
- Knowledge of local broadcast regulations and compliance standards in Mozambique.
