Key Responsibilities

  • Assist line cooks with food preparation tasks, including chopping vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing sauces.
  • Learn and accurately execute basic cooking methods under supervision (e.g., grilling, frying, sautéing).
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation and ensure all kitchen equipment is properly cleaned and stored.
  • Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations strictly to prevent contamination.
  • Support the kitchen team during peak service hours to ensure timely order delivery.
  • Assist with receiving and storing food supplies, ensuring proper inventory rotation.
  • Contribute to a positive and cooperative kitchen environment.
