Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing, processing, and maintaining accurate import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and customs declarations.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and internal departments to coordinate international shipments.
- Track and monitor shipment statuses, providing updates to stakeholders and resolving minor logistical issues.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant international trade laws, customs regulations, and company policies.
- Support the team in researching and interpreting trade agreements, tariffs, and duty rates.
- Maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems for all trade-related documents.
- Learn and apply Incoterms rules in daily operations to ensure clarity in trade transactions.
- Contribute to problem-solving and process improvement initiatives within the trade department.
- Collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize shipping routes and reduce transit times.
Required Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, International Relations, or a related field.
