Key Responsibilities

  • Warmly greet and welcome all clients upon arrival, managing check-ins and check-outs efficiently.
  • Skillfully manage a multi-service appointment schedule, including booking, rescheduling, and confirming appointments via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Answer phone calls with professionalism and provide comprehensive information regarding salon services, pricing, and promotions.
  • Process client payments accurately using POS systems, handle cash transactions, and maintain daily sales records.
  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the reception area, ensuring a pleasant and inviting atmosphere for clients.
  • Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback with empathy and provide effective solutions or escalate issues when necessary.
  • Assist with inventory management of retail products and salon supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
  • Promote and educate clients on retail products and ongoing salon promotions to enhance their experience.
  • Collaborate effectively with stylists, aestheticians, and other salon staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Perform light administrative duties, including filing, data entry, and preparing reports as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a customer service or front desk role, preferably within a salon, spa, or hospitality setting.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using appointment scheduling software and POS systems (e.g., Salon Iris, Booker, Square).
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
  • Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite).
