Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers (physical and virtual), storage, and cloud environments (AWS/Azure).
  • Lead and mentor a team of IT support specialists and system administrators, fostering professional growth and high performance.
  • Oversee incident, problem, and change management processes, ensuring minimal disruption and quick resolution.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce IT policies, procedures, and best practices to ensure data security, system integrity, and operational efficiency.
  • Manage IT budgets, procure hardware and software, and negotiate with vendors and service providers.
  • Plan and execute IT projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and the implementation of new technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant industry regulations and data privacy standards.
  • Monitor system performance, conduct regular audits, and implement preventative measures to maintain high availability and reliability.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, ensuring smooth business operations.

Required Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in IT operations, with at least 2 years in a management or leadership role.
  • Proven experience with network administration (TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, DHCP, Firewalls, Routing).
  • Strong knowledge of server operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and managing cloud-based infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices in service management.
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and data protection.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a technical team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL v4, CCNA, MCSA, AWS Certified SysOps Administrator).
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Python) for automation.
  • Project management experience or certification (PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience with database management systems (SQL, MySQL).
