Key Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal care activities during the night, including mobility, feeding, hygiene, and comfort needs.
- Monitor patients' conditions closely, observing for any changes, and report all observations and concerns to the nursing staff immediately.
- Respond promptly and efficiently to patient call bells, offering assistance, reassurance, and addressing immediate needs.
- Ensure patient rooms, common areas, and medical equipment are tidy, clean, and adequately stocked throughout the night.
- Assist with basic ward duties, such as changing bed linen, tidying patient areas, and organizing supplies.
- Provide compassionate emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families during difficult or anxious moments.
- Accurately document patient care activities and observations as per facility protocols, maintaining strict confidentiality.
- Collaborate effectively with the nursing team by carrying out delegated tasks and supporting ward operations as required.
- Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, procedures, infection control measures, and health and safety regulations.
