Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently.
- Operate the cash register and process various payment methods (cash, credit/debit, mobile) with precision.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash drawer reconciliation at the beginning and end of shifts.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing inquiries, and resolving minor issues promptly and politely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting counter area, including wiping down surfaces, restocking supplies, and ensuring all areas are tidy.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks such as bagging orders, preparing beverages, and assembling simple menu items.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure order accuracy and timely delivery to customers.
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
- Identify opportunities to upsell or suggest additional menu items to enhance the customer experience.
- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
