Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming goods against purchase orders.
- Organize and store inventory in designated locations within the warehouse, ensuring optimal space utilization.
- Conduct regular stock checks and participate in periodic inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing orders for dispatch, ensuring items are correctly matched to invoices and appropriately packaged.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., pallet jacks, hand trucks) as required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.
- Report any discrepancies, damages, or quality issues with stock immediately to the supervisor.
- Collaborate with the logistics and sales teams to facilitate smooth workflow and address any stock-related inquiries.
- Assist in loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed.
Required Skills
- Minimum of O’Level certificate or equivalent.
- Proven experience (at least 1 year) in a warehouse or inventory management role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic computer literacy for inventory software and data entry.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- OND/HND in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
- Familiarity with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP software).
