Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders according to specified instructions and deadlines.
- Efficiently load and unload delivery vehicles using appropriate equipment and safety protocols.
- Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods to identify and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks (and forklifts, if certified) in a safe manner.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering strictly to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock rotation, counting, and reconciliation tasks.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily operational targets.
- Handle goods with care, ensuring products are stored and transported without damage.
Required Skills
- Ability to consistently work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and high levels of accuracy in task execution.
- Physical stamina and capability to lift, carry, push, and pull items up to 25kg repeatedly.
- Excellent reliability and punctuality, understanding the importance of consistent attendance.
- Proven ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate clearly.
- Basic numeracy and literacy skills for order processing and documentation.
- Commitment to adhering to all safety procedures and guidelines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or production environment.
- Valid forklift license (Reach or Counterbalance) with relevant experience.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) or scanning technology.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and continuous improvement.
- Experience in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing setting.
