As a Mobile App Developer, you will be instrumental in the design, development, and maintenance of intuitive and high-performing mobile applications for both iOS and Android platforms. You will work closely with our product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend developers to bring exciting new features and products to life, as well as enhance existing applications. This role demands a keen eye for detail, a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and a continuous desire to learn and implement new technologies. You will be expected to contribute actively to all phases of the development lifecycle, from conceptualization and architectural design to development, rigorous testing, seamless deployment, and ongoing support. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and deploy robust and scalable mobile applications for iOS and Android platforms using modern frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, and backend engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, well-documented, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices and coding standards.
- Ensure the optimal performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, continuously striving for improvement.
- Identify and resolve bottlenecks, debug issues, and improve overall application performance and stability.
- Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies and development methodologies to maximize efficiency and innovation.
- Actively participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback and contributing to a culture of shared knowledge and continuous learning.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in at least one modern mobile development framework or language (e.g., React Native, Flutter, Kotlin, Swift/Objective-C).
- Strong understanding of the full mobile application development lifecycle from conception to deployment and maintenance.
- Demonstrated experience with integrating RESTful APIs, working with third-party libraries, and implementing cloud messaging services.
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git, and collaborative development workflows.
- Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, mobile design patterns, and platform-specific guidelines.
- Ability to write comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and application reliability.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
- A strong portfolio of published mobile applications on Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Basic knowledge of backend technologies (e.g., Node.js, Python, PHP) and database management systems (SQL/NoSQL).
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
