Job Description
Are you a passionate and experienced Ballet Instructor seeking a flexible role where your artistic expertise can truly shine? Career.zycto is thrilled to connect with dedicated dance educators to join our network of exceptional performing arts programs in Phoenix, Arizona. We are looking for an individual who is not only a skilled dancer but also an inspiring mentor, capable of fostering a love for ballet in students of all ages and abilities. This role offers the unique opportunity to set your own schedule, balancing your teaching commitments with other artistic pursuits or personal obligations, making it ideal for professionals who value work-life harmony.
As a Ballet Instructor, you will be at the heart of our mission to cultivate technical excellence, artistic expression, and a lifelong appreciation for classical ballet. You will be responsible for developing and delivering comprehensive lesson plans that cater to various skill levels, from foundational introductory classes for young beginners to advanced technique sessions for aspiring pre-professional dancers. Our ideal candidate possesses a deep understanding of classical ballet methodologies, such as Vaganova, Cecchetti, or RAD, and can adapt their teaching style to meet the individual needs and learning styles of each student. Beyond technical instruction, you will instill discipline, grace, and confidence, guiding students through intricate barre work, challenging center combinations, and expressive allegro.
This position demands more than just teaching steps; it requires an ability to ignite passion, encourage perseverance, and build a supportive community within the studio. You will have the creative freedom to choreograph original pieces for showcases, recitals, and other performance opportunities, allowing students to experience the joy of presenting their hard work on stage. Effective communication with students, parents, and studio management is paramount to ensure a cohesive and enriching experience for everyone involved. You will regularly provide constructive feedback, track student progress, and collaborate with other instructors to maintain a high standard of dance education. If you are an enthusiastic, patient, and highly skilled ballet professional ready to make a significant impact on the next generation of dancers while enjoying the flexibility your lifestyle demands, we encourage you to apply and become a valued part of the Career.zycto artistic family in Phoenix.
