Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and scheduling of daily transportation routes for various vehicles and deliveries.
  • Monitor and track the progress of shipments, ensuring timely pickups and deliveries, and proactively addressing any delays or issues.
  • Communicate regularly with drivers, providing clear instructions, updates, and support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of transportation activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, maintenance schedules, and driver logs.
  • Liaise with clients to confirm delivery details, resolve inquiries, and provide status updates on their shipments.
  • Support the optimization of routes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve delivery times.
  • Assist in the preparation of necessary documentation, such as waybills, manifests, and permits.
  • Report on operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and contributing to strategic planning.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations and company policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including warehousing and customer service, to ensure integrated operations.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in a logistics, transportation, or administrative support role (minimum 2 years).
  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a demanding environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.

Preferred Qualifications
