Key Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain the architectural roadmap for core software systems and applications.
  • Lead the design and development of highly scalable, robust, and secure software solutions.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate technologies, frameworks, and architectural patterns.
  • Conduct comprehensive design reviews and provide technical guidance to development teams.
  • Ensure architectural alignment with business goals, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor and coach engineering teams on architectural principles, design patterns, and coding standards.
  • Collaborate with product management, project managers, and other stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications.
  • Identify technical risks and propose mitigation strategies throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Drive continuous improvement in software architecture, development processes, and overall system performance.
  • Contribute to technical documentation, architectural diagrams, and knowledge sharing initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 7 years of progressive experience in software development, with at least 3 years in a dedicated Software Architect role.
  • Profound understanding of various architectural patterns (e.g., Microservices, Event-Driven, Monolithic, Serverless).
  • Expertise in designing and implementing solutions on major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Strong proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Java, Python, C#, Node.js).
  • Extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
  • Demonstrated ability to design secure, scalable, and high-performance systems.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated testing.
  • Solid understanding of API design principles (RESTful, GraphQL).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant professional certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
