Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial client consultations to ascertain event objectives, preferences, and budget for weddings and corporate functions.
  • Develop comprehensive event proposals, including theme, venue selection, vendor recommendations, and detailed timelines.
  • Create and manage detailed budgets, ensuring all financial targets are met and providing transparent financial reporting.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage a diverse range of vendors (caterers, florists, photographers, entertainers, AV technicians, venues, etc.).
  • Design and implement event layouts, décor, and logistical plans.
  • Develop and manage detailed event timelines and production schedules.
  • Oversee all aspects of event execution, including on-site setup, registration, guest management, and breakdown.
  • Coordinate with all involved parties, including clients, vendors, and support staff, to ensure seamless event flow.
  • Proactively identify and resolve potential issues and challenges during the planning and execution phases.
  • Conduct post-event evaluations, gather feedback, and analyze event success against objectives.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, venues, and best practices in event planning.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of proven experience in event planning, specifically with weddings and corporate events.
  • Exceptional project management and organizational skills.
  • Strong budgeting and financial management capabilities.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management expertise.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Experience with destination weddings or international corporate events.
  • Proficiency in graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) for mood boards and promotional materials.
