Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the configuration and deployment of network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, access points) under supervision.
- Support senior engineers in troubleshooting network issues and outages, learning diagnostic tools and methodologies.
- Learn and apply fundamental network protocols (TCP/IP, OSPF, BGP) and security concepts.
- Document network configurations, diagrams, and standard operational procedures accurately.
- Monitor network performance metrics and contribute to optimization and capacity planning efforts.
- Participate actively in internal training sessions and work towards achieving relevant industry certifications.
- Collaborate effectively with team members on various IT projects and initiatives.
- Perform basic network security checks and assist with the implementation of security policies.
- Adhere strictly to company standards and best practices for network management and change control.
Required Skills
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP, OSI model, subnetting).
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, basic Linux command line).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities with a logical approach.
