Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice verification, data entry, and payment processing.
- Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate general ledger accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close procedures, including journal entries and accruals.
- Prepare and process payroll information, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Generate financial reports and summaries for management review.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Reconcile intercompany accounts and transactions.
- Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
- Maintain organised financial records and documentation.
- Communicate effectively with clients, vendors, and internal departments regarding financial inquiries.
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Ensure compliance with all financial policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Finance Coordinator, Accounting Assistant, or similar role.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
