Key Responsibilities
- Analyze supply chain data to identify areas for improvement, cost reduction, and efficiency gains.
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize inventory levels, warehousing operations, and transportation logistics.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular, detailed reports on supply chain performance and efficiency.
- Conduct thorough demand forecasting and collaborate closely with sales and operations teams to align supply with market demand.
- Evaluate supplier performance, negotiate favorable terms, and maintain strong, collaborative vendor relationships.
- Utilize advanced ERP systems and specialized supply chain software to manage and track logistics operations end-to-end.
- Identify and proactively mitigate potential supply chain risks, ensuring operational continuity and resilience.
- Participate actively in cross-functional projects aimed at process improvement, system upgrades, and innovation.
- Present findings, insights, and strategic recommendations to senior management, directly supporting business planning and decision-making.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in supply chain analytics tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
- Strong understanding of core supply chain principles (inventory management, logistics, procurement, demand planning).
- Excellent data analysis, interpretation, and visualization skills.
- Ability to communicate complex data and insights clearly, concisely, and persuasively.
- Proven problem-solving and critical thinking abilities with an eye for detail.
- Experience with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, or a related quantitative field.
- Professional certification such as APICS CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) or CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management).
- Experience with Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process optimization.
- Demonstrated project management experience, preferably within a supply chain context.
