Key Responsibilities
- Assist drivers with loading and unloading goods from delivery vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Verify shipment contents against delivery manifests to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Navigate routes and provide directions or guidance to drivers as needed, utilising navigation tools.
- Safely and efficiently carry items from the vehicle to the customer's designated location, adhering to delivery instructions.
- Assist in securing loads within the vehicle to prevent damage during transit, using appropriate equipment.
- Interact professionally and courteously with customers, providing excellent service at the point of delivery.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, company policies, and traffic laws during all delivery operations.
- Report any discrepancies, issues, or damages to supervisors promptly and accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of delivery vehicles and equipment.
Required Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy packages (up to 25kg) repeatedly.
