As an Assembly Line Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the production process, ensuring the efficient and accurate assembly of our products. You will be trained on various tasks, from component placement and quality checks to packaging and preparing items for shipment. Key Responsibilities

  • Perform repetitive tasks on an assembly line to construct products according to specifications and production schedules.
  • Inspect parts and products for defects or quality issues, reporting any discrepancies to supervisors.
  • Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and machinery in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, company policies, and quality control standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring a safe and productive environment.
  • Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing finished products for shipment.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to meet production targets.
  • Learn and adapt to new assembly techniques and product variations as required.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with precision and attention to detail.
  • Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Basic understanding of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment (training provided).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs (11.3 kg).

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a production or manufacturing setting (even unrelated fields, if it involved repetitive tasks).
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles (a plus, but not required).
