Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve assisting lead photographers during shoots, ensuring all equipment is prepped, maintained, and packed efficiently. This includes setting up and dismantling lighting rigs, backdrops, and props, as well as managing batteries, memory cards, and other essential gear. You’ll also have the chance to observe and learn about client interactions, project management, and the overall execution of successful photographic campaigns. Beyond the set, you’ll assist with office tasks such as organizing assets, researching locations, and basic image culling, providing a holistic view of the photography business.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist lead photographers with studio and on-location setup and breakdown of equipment (lighting, cameras, backdrops, props).
- Manage and maintain photography equipment, ensuring it is clean, charged, and in good working order.
- Organize and prepare gear bags for shoots, including cameras, lenses, batteries, memory cards, and other accessories.
- Support photographers during shoots by holding reflectors, adjusting lighting, managing subjects, and providing general assistance.
- Assist with post-production tasks such as image culling, basic file organization, and data backup.
- Run errands related to photography projects, including picking up or dropping off equipment and props.
- Learn and adhere to safety protocols and best practices for handling photography equipment and working on sets.
- Maintain a tidy and organized studio space and equipment storage areas.
- Proactively anticipate needs on set and offer support to ensure smooth shoot execution.
