Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary School Teacher to join a vibrant educational community within Old Harbour, St. Catherine. Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across the primary school curriculum, including Literacy, Numeracy, Science, and Social Studies.
  • Create and maintain a positive, safe, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
  • Assess and monitor student progress regularly, providing timely feedback and adapting teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and support staff to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive educational experience for all students.
  • Integrate technology effectively into daily instruction to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.
  • Participate actively in school-wide initiatives, professional development programs, and extra-curricular activities.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and behavioral observations.
