Key Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive interior design concepts with a strong focus on décor and aesthetic setup.
- Source, select, and specify furniture, fixtures, equipment (FF&E), finishes, accessories, and art.
- Create detailed layouts and plans for furniture arrangement, lighting placement, and decorative elements.
- Collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure design integrity and project success.
- Manage the procurement process for all décor items, including budgeting, ordering, and tracking deliveries.
- Oversee on-site installation and setup, ensuring meticulous attention to detail and adherence to design specifications.
- Present design concepts and material boards to clients, effectively communicating design rationale and vision.
- Stay abreast of current design trends, materials, and technologies in interior design and décor.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign).
- Strong understanding of color theory, spatial planning, and material properties.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written).
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Creative problem-solving abilities and a client-focused approach.
- Demonstrated portfolio showcasing strong décor and setup capabilities.
