Key Responsibilities
- Lay bricks, concrete blocks, stone, and other masonry units to construct or repair walls, partitions, arches, and other structures.
- Cut and trim masonry units to fit, using hand and power tools.
- Mix mortar, grout, and concrete to specified consistencies.
- Erect and dismantle scaffolding as needed, ensuring a safe working platform.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine layout and dimensions.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Inspect finished masonry work for quality and compliance with building codes.
- Collaborate effectively with other construction team members.
- Operate various hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Masonry Worker or Bricklayer.
- Proficiency in laying various types of masonry units (bricks, blocks, stone).
- Strong knowledge of mortar mixing and application techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
- Excellent physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures.

Preferred Qualifications
