Job Description

As a Media Planner, you will be instrumental in developing, executing, and optimizing comprehensive media plans across various channels, including digital (search, social, programmatic, native), traditional (TV, radio, print, OOH), and emerging platforms. You’ll work closely with clients, account managers, and creative teams to understand business objectives, identify target demographics, and craft compelling media strategies that drive measurable results, ultimately contributing to our clients’ success and growth.

Your role will involve deep dives into market research, consumer behavior analysis, and competitive landscapes to uncover actionable insights that inform your planning and buying decisions. You’ll be responsible for meticulously managing media budget allocation, skillfully negotiating rates with vendors and media owners, and rigorously tracking campaign performance. Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive media strategies and plans across digital, traditional, and emerging platforms.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and audience analysis to identify optimal media channels and targeting strategies.
  • Manage media budgets, negotiate rates with vendors, and ensure campaigns are delivered on time and within financial parameters.
  • Monitor campaign performance, analyze data, and provide regular reports with actionable insights and recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with account management, creative, and analytics teams to ensure seamless campaign execution.
  • Stay abreast of the latest media trends, technologies, and competitive landscape to inform future strategies.
  • Present media plans and performance updates to clients in a clear, compelling, and professional manner.
  • Identify and evaluate new media opportunities and innovative solutions to enhance campaign effectiveness.

Required Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in media planning or buying within an agency or in-house marketing team.
  • Proven experience developing and executing multi-channel media campaigns (digital, social, programmatic, traditional).
  • Strong understanding of media metrics, analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, advertising platforms), and reporting.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate it into strategic recommendations.
  • Proficiency in media planning software and tools (e.g., Nielsen, comScore, ad servers).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or a related field.
