Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior florists with flower preparation, including cleaning, trimming, and conditioning fresh flowers and plants.
- Help maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the floral studio and retail display areas.
- Water and care for plants and cut flowers to ensure their longevity and freshness.
- Process incoming flower deliveries, check for quality, and ensure proper storage.
- Assist with creating basic floral arrangements, bouquets, and corsages under supervision.
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service, assisting clients with their selections and answering basic inquiries.
- Support with stock rotation, pricing, and merchandising of floral products and giftware.
- Handle sales transactions, package orders, and prepare items for delivery or collection.
- Learn about different flower types, their seasonal availability, and care requirements.
- Perform general shop duties, including sweeping, dusting, and maintaining a welcoming environment for customers.
