Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated Part-Time Night Auditor to join our vibrant hospitality team in Castleford, Wakefield. This pivotal overnight role is crucial for maintaining the smooth operation of our establishment during evening and early morning hours, ensuring guest satisfaction and the accuracy of financial transactions.
As our Night Auditor, you will be the face of our establishment after dark, responsible for welcoming late arrivals, assisting with guest inquiries, and ensuring a peaceful and secure environment. Beyond front desk duties, a significant part of your role involves meticulously auditing daily financial transactions, reconciling accounts, and preparing reports for management. Key Responsibilities
- Perform all night audit functions, including balancing daily cash, credit card, and ledger accounts.
- Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and courteously.
- Handle guest requests, inquiries, and complaints promptly and professionally.
- Prepare daily reports for management, summarizing financial activities and operational performance.
- Monitor security cameras and conduct regular property walks to ensure guest safety and property security.
- Respond to and resolve any overnight emergencies or disturbances in a calm and effective manner.
- Set up for continental breakfast service and perform light cleaning duties as required.
- Maintain accurate records of all transactions and guest interactions.
- Ensure all necessary reports are printed and distributed at the end of the shift.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 6 months experience in a front desk or customer service role, preferably within hospitality.
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills for financial reconciliation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using hotel property management systems (PMS) and standard office software.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Reliability and punctuality, especially for overnight shifts.
- A friendly and professional demeanor.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience specifically as a Night Auditor.
- Knowledge of local attractions and services in Castleford and Wakefield.
