Key Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists with dispensing medications, under direct supervision and within legal guidelines.
- Maintain accurate patient records and prescription profiles, ensuring confidentiality.
- Process sales transactions efficiently and handle cash and card payments with integrity.
- Manage pharmacy inventory, including stocking shelves, monitoring expiry dates, and assisting with ordering.
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns with empathy and professionalism.
- Ensure the pharmacy environment is clean, organized, and compliant with all health and safety regulations.
- Prepare prescription labels and organize medications for dispensing accurately.
- Answer phones and direct calls appropriately, handling routine inquiries.
- Assist with the replenishment of supplies and perform general administrative tasks as needed.
- Learn and strictly adhere to all pharmacy policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
