Key Responsibilities

  • Wash, peel, chop, slice, and dice various fruits, vegetables, and other ingredients as per recipes and instructions.
  • Assist cooks and chefs with basic food preparation tasks and plating.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
  • Portion and package ingredients accurately according to established standards.
  • Receive, unpack, and store deliveries in designated areas, ensuring proper rotation and labeling.
  • Monitor ingredient freshness and quality, reporting any issues to the kitchen supervisor.
  • Adhere strictly to all food safety and sanitation guidelines and company policies.
  • Support the kitchen team in various tasks to ensure efficient operations and timely service.
  • Learn and adapt to new preparation techniques and kitchen procedures.

Required Skills

  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
