Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently, under direct supervision.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and offering assistance with over-the-counter products.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, including receiving, stocking, rotating, and organizing medications and supplies.
  • Process patient transactions, handle cash and electronic payments, and manage prescription pick-ups.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment within the pharmacy.
  • Prepare medication labels and packaging, ensuring all details are correct.
  • Answer phone calls, direct inquiries, and manage appointment scheduling where applicable.
  • Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, as well as pharmacy policies and procedures.
  • Assist with administrative duties such as filing, record-keeping, and data entry.
  • Report any issues or concerns to the supervising pharmacist promptly.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards at all times.

Required Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience in a customer service or retail environment.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Demonstrated reliability and punctuality.
  • Fluency in Portuguese and basic proficiency in English.
