Key Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor food production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures.
- Perform regular quality checks on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods, ensuring adherence to specifications.
- Adhere strictly to all food safety, hygiene, and sanitation protocols (HACCP, GMP, SOPs).
- Monitor production parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates, making adjustments as needed.
- Conduct basic troubleshooting and preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records, including batch logs, quality control sheets, and downtime reports.
- Collaborate effectively with team members, supervisors, and quality assurance personnel.
- Ensure all work is performed in a safe manner, following company safety guidelines and using appropriate PPE.
- Assist with inventory management of ingredients and finished products as required.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Basic mathematical skills for measurements and record-keeping.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
