Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations related to livestock care, feeding, and husbandry.
- Develop and implement comprehensive animal health programs in consultation with veterinarians.
- Oversee breeding programs, including record-keeping, genetic selection, and reproduction management.
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of farmhands and livestock technicians.
- Monitor livestock performance, health, and welfare, identifying and addressing issues proactively.
- Manage feed inventories, ordering, and nutrition plans to optimize animal growth and health.
- Ensure strict adherence to biosecurity protocols and animal welfare standards.
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of livestock inventory, production, health, and treatment.
- Manage budgets for feed, veterinary services, and operational supplies.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant provincial and federal agricultural regulations.
- Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment related to livestock management.

Required Skills
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in livestock management.
