Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department for assigned clients, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
- Develop, implement, and maintain internal financial controls and procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct comprehensive financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to clients, supporting their business growth and decision-making.
- Manage cash flow, treasury functions, and optimize working capital for client portfolios.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and assist with tax planning and filings.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff or provide guidance on complex financial issues.
- Utilize accounting software and cloud-based platforms to streamline financial processes.
- Stay updated with changes in financial regulations, accounting standards, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- ACCA, CIMA, or ACA qualification (or equivalent)
- Minimum 8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles
- Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and financial regulations
- Expert proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage) and advanced Excel skills
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of remote client interaction
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting

- Experience with a variety of industry sectors or managing multiple client accounts simultaneously
