Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS.
- Implement and manage various AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, Lambda, ECS/EKS, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like AWS CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Monitor AWS infrastructure for performance, security, and cost optimization, implementing solutions for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud solutions into CI/CD pipelines and application architectures.
- Ensure security best practices are implemented and maintained across all AWS environments.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure.
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical incident response (as required).
- Stay current with new AWS services, features, and industry best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, Lambda, CloudWatch).
- Strong understanding of networking concepts in AWS (VPC, Subnets, Security Groups, Route Tables).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes/EKS).
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
- Experience with other cloud platforms (Azure, GCP) is a plus.
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
- Experience with serverless architectures.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
