Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain highly scalable, reliable, and performant infrastructure and services.
- Develop and improve automation tools for infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
- Monitor system health and performance, establish robust alerting, and respond to incidents to ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with development teams on architectural designs, system resilience, and operability.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents and implement preventative measures.
- Manage and optimize cloud resources, ensuring cost-efficiency and security.
- Contribute to on-call rotations and participate in post-incident reviews.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to facilitate rapid and reliable software releases.
- Drive continuous improvement in system reliability, performance, and operational efficiency.
- Document system architecture, processes, and troubleshooting guides.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Linux system administration and troubleshooting.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Go, Bash, or similar.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD principles and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
- Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk).
- Experience with relational and NoSQL databases.
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Load Balancing).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
